Penn State Football annihilated Iowa in Penn State's annual White Out game. With a final score of 31-0, James Franklin shut out Kirk Ferentz's squad and secured a quality win in the Big Ten Conference. Quarterback Drew Allar has now thrown for 8 touchdowns and 0 interceptions and it appears that the Nittany Lions have a capable offense that also has the capacity to turtle up and play a conservative play without having to rely on big plays to score. This is important because Penn State will be playing an elite defense in Columbus, Ohio, in exactly three weeks. In spite of the Ohio State game looming over Franklin's head, he and his staff cannot overlook Northwestern, who upset Minnesota 37-34 in overtime. My prediction for this game is Penn State wins by more than 3 touchdowns and likely covers the spread. The Nittany Lions will be preparing for their game against Ohio State Football, but I seriously doubt Northwestern has the horses to pull off an upset against Penn State.
