They discuss the federal demonstration grant Charting A Course for Economic Mobility which involves fifteen states and two tribes. Their conversation centers around Blackfeet Nation's project, the importance of young Blackfeet developing a strong cultural identity, and how those relate to the grant's overarching goals of educating and motivating teens and young adults to postpone parenthood until after they complete their education, start a career, and engage in a committed relationship.
