Mike Evans was an All State HS basketball player at Weston HS in Connecticut.   After HS, he went on to play at Hamilton College, where he set multiple 3 pt shooting records.  Mike then used his success at Hamilton to play professional basketball for 2 years in Belfast, Ireland.  While in Ireland, Mike was not only dedicated to the game of basketball but also dedicated to creating a more accepting environment in a place that had plenty of trouble at the time. Serving essentially a Sports Diplomat, Mike pioneered basketball programs to unite Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland.  He used this model to serve similar needs in communities such as Havana/Cuba, Jaurez/Mexico, Dominican Republic, an Indian reservation in Wyoming as well as the poverty stricken neighborhoods in Connecticut!  Mike was an assistant coach at Harvard University, where he obtained his Masters in Education.  Mike runs a private shooting company called Right Angle Shooting; where he works with some great players including NBA player Jakar Simpson.  He has had an incredible impact on the game of basketball as well as global peace and justice.  He is the Executive Director and founder of FULL COURT PEACE, which is a non-profit organization that unites communities through the game of basketball.   https://www.fullcourtpeace.org/
