What happens when a video game company blatantly plagiarizes Indiana Jones but is too deep in the coding process to change the entire game? They make the hero a woman, and a new cultural icon is born! Naturally, there had to be a movie.
This week on The CineMeh Podcast, Josh and Ryan are discussing the 2001 action-adventure movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, staring Angelina Jolie as the titular Lara Croft. While there is fun to be had, your hosts quickly find that this film completely falls apart under the slightest pressure- something that cannot be said of Lara herself.
Bonkers action sequences, bad accents, sleazy villains and nonsensical time-travel abound in this globe-trotting romp that dares to ask the question: just how much plot can we ignore before we realize this movie was badly written?!

Grab your hiking boots and crop top, and hold on tight to your motorcycle; it's time foranother episode of The CineMeh Podcast!
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was released in 2001 and stars Angelina Jolie, Iain Glen, Noah Taylor, and Daniel Craig.
