Failure is a big part of playing D&D or any other TTRPG. Missed attacks, botched stealth checks or failed social interactions with NPCs happen all the time. The potential for more serious failures, like the loss of a player character are also always lurking just around the corner. Theses failures or the potential for failure however shouldn't take away for your game, infact it should enhance it. In this week's episode we chat about how and why would should try to make yourself resilient to failure in your games, because the way you react to failure has a big affect on the game.
Role Play Chat is a Podcast where your hosts Chris and Mat sit down and chat about #ttrpg (such as #DungeonsandDragons, Fates, Warhammer or Call of Cthulhu) and other tabletop #RPG related topics.
Enjoy! Chris and Mat.
