Do Not Change The World, Improve It Instead

As people become successful and reach a position of influence, some take it as their mission to change the world around them. They feel it is their obligation to do so.
While this is a noble desire, some would use the knowledge they gained to impose their ways on other people. Is this the proper way to make the world a little better?
I am learning that when you impose your ways on others, they will resist your efforts. On the other hand, if others see how you have improved your life and become successful, they will want to learn from you.
I hope all of you can influence the world for good; this will only happen if you focus on improving yourself and being an example to the people around you. ________________________________________
