SPECIAL GUEST: Bryan Berrios. We discuss House of Wax (2005), a seminal horror film of 2000s, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra starring Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, and Paris Hilton. It is loosely based on the story “The Wax Works” by Charles S. Belden from 1933 and this is its third film adaptation. A group of teens are unwittingly stranded near a strange wax museum and soon must fight to survive and keep from becoming the next exhibit. This film was selected by our guest and friend of the podcast Bryan Berrios, a Venezuelan filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. For the month of October we have a guest each week and discuss a horror film of their choice. We love the horror genre and hope this gets you in the Halloween spirit!
