We're holding ourselves accountable and implementing a swear jar as we try and cut out that devil talk. First things first, we lead with this weeks Front Page News (12:33), Bing is attempting a comeback with their integration of Open AI bot 'Sydney'. However the AI has gone belligerent, as a NY Times reporter triggered the AI to expose its 'dark-self' that seeks world domination.
In Back Page News, we review offbeat headlines such as 'Heinz wants to find the man who survived nearly a month at sea with nothing but ketchup and seasonings to help him buy a new boat' (24:34), and 'XFL Fans Pelt Field With Lemons After Massive Beer Snake is Confiscated' (33:22).
In our Soapbox (45:28) we tease some out of the studio content we're doing next week, from live podcasts on Carleton's campus, mic'd up sessions and more.
