What is the true power of mindfulness and meditation?

The power is in the state of being that we can attain when we mindfully sit with ourselves in meditation. We can attain a state of truly being the frog rather than having to make an effort to be the frog.

Do you see the difference?

When we simply are without any goal, any pressure, any effort, another level of awareness can flood through us and give us exactly what we need. Be it peace of mind, be it a new idea, be it clarity of the next step.

It will come naturally if we do not force it, but if we get comfortable with simply recognising what is inside of us. Once there is no value attached, no judgement, shame or guilt, no thought that what we are doing is special, what we need comes to us.
