I recently travelled to Scotland to attend my son’s college graduation and it was a trip to remember! The airports were packed, the airline I flew with lost my luggage, and because of the strong economy, there was no one available to help. His graduation was bittersweet because although he finished his classes and turned in his dissertation, his professors refused to turn in his final grades because they’re on strike. They want better wages, better working conditions, and better job security – and they are right to demand all three.
