Another of my predictions has come true - that’s twice this week. Time to either enroll in the Xavier Institute, or maybe get some training from Scatman Crothers in how to use my gift wisely.
As I suggested would happen on a recent episode of this podcast (https://www.spreaker.com/user/mattsager/episode-97-black-panther-and-aquaman-tri), Ben Affleck has officially exited The Batman, Matt Reeves’ cinematic relaunch of the Dark Knight slated for release in 2021.
Deadline reports, and Affleck has confirmed on Twitter, that The Batman will feature a younger Bruce Wayne, and will follow an origin story based on, or similar to, the classic Batman: Year One. Will Henry Cavill officially step down as Superman? And who will wear the mantle of the Bat? I'll do some thinking on it, and see if I can't come up with more eerily accurate predictions.
