I’m still working on my Captain Marvel review - I’ve got to find a way to spoiler-proof my thoughts on this movie, that may well be a Rosetta Stone of sorts to the past and future of Marvel movies. I do have some great box office news, however - the movie made tons of money, far exceeding projections both in the U.S. and internationally. It also has spawned a very cute meme. Which is good, because I need to look at pretty cats to calm me down - you see, I've watched Leaving Neverland. My takeaway is that although Michael Jackson is now beyond the reach of the criminal justice system, the parents of the children he abused deserve prison time. Trafficking your children is the most heartless act imaginable, and even their own self-serving retelling of events do not conjure sympathy so much as outrage and a desire for some kind of justice.
