Facebook's security has always been lax, and their indifference to the problem has always been disturbing. But today's detailed report in the New York Times is actually shocking, in the way it exposes the many ways in which Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg ignore the problem, in defense of their egos and self-image, and of course Facebook's value, have led them to ignore, obfuscate, and lie about the hacks, security leaks, and the ongoing Russian propaganda.
