I'm working on something big-ish to commemorate the upcoming 60th episode of the Matt Sager Podcast, for Monday. So tonight, I'm re-broadcasting my tribute to the late, great Stan Lee. As it happens, he passed on Veterans Day, so you'll hear about my love and respect for those who have served, and those who are still serving, as well as the many people suffering through the wildfires raging in Southern California.
By the way, I have a cool Netflix hack for the legions of Stan Lee fans, and for fans of Marvel's cinematic universe and Netflix original series, none of which would have existed without Stan. If you're subscribed to Netflix, and live in the U.S., enter "Excelsior" in the search field and you'll get a real treat - Marvel movies, TV series, and Netflix original content galore. It's all the content a Marvelite could ask for, arranged together for maximum binge-watching, and a fine tribute to a great man. Enjoy, and have a great weekend. I'll meet you back here Monday for the big 60th episode!
Original episode description from Monday, November 12, 2018:
Tonight's show is dedicated to our veterans, and one vet in particular, Stan Lee. The legendary creator passed away today at the age of 95, having accomplished so much good in this world that it's amazing, spectacular and uncanny. Between the loss of this giant and the ongoing inferno in Southern California, my heart is sort of broken tonight. Let's commiserate, celebrate love and hope, and the promise of better days.
