It's Friday night, and my email has been flooded with questions regarding the fate of the Jim & Sam show on SiriusXM, and I'm sorry but I honestly have no clue. If I'm able to get answers, I will present them on Monday, but from what I can tell they don't really know what's happening, so any gossip I could offer would be very unreliable. So, since I can't answer that - and I'm renovating the studio - here's a rebroadcast of a recent episode in which I had to make an unfortunate retraction regarding a related show: good old Opie Radio.

Not long ago (episode 5, to be precise) I made an offer to some old friends of mine at Westwood One. I guaranteed that I could fix their first podcast, Opie Radio, in one day and that it would cost them nothing. Upon further listening however, I now think that the show is beyond saving, and so I'm issuing an apology and a retraction, along with the audio that convinced me that all is lost.
Featuring a major player from Opie's past, though you wouldn't know it to hear them banter like there's no acrimony between them. And maybe there isn't - they both sound too tired to fight anymore, or to have much of a conversation or to put on a show. And this guest sounds legitimately unwell. Thoughts and prayers.
