I hate to be right, but anyone paying attention could see this was coming: Netflix has cancelled The Punisher and Jessica Jones, the latter of which will air its third and final season, and that will mark the end of the Netflix Marvel Universe.
It was some of the best superhero TV I’ve ever seen - Iron Fist and, to a lesser extent, The Defenders, being the exceptions to the rule. I hope that the cast and crew of these shows end up working on great projects, and that these properties are given new life when Disney Plus premieres later this year.
