If you listened to last night's landmark 100th episode of the Matt Sager Podcast - https://www.spreaker.com/user/mattsager/episode-100-oscars-are-officially-host-l - then you know that I've been battling a cold, and I'm afraid that the cold won. I'm a lightweight, and also NYC has been vacillating between freezing and warm - we've literally had temperatures as low as -8, and as high as 60 degrees, all in one week - and that's when New Yorkers start getting sick. So long story short, I'm genuinely sorry that I'm not able to do episode 101 tonight. So here's a re-broadcast of episode 80, in which I recap the best television of 2018. If, like me, you're bed-ridden, you could do a lot worse than watching these great shows. Also, I aired this episode right between Christmas and my birthday, so you'll probably notice I'm a bit more dry and snarky than usual. That's because a family member had sent me a "birthmas" gift of a towel, which - what kind of message were they trying to send, exactly? Maybe they thought I was going hitchhiking around the galaxy?
