I've noticed that even my trolls are pretty civil, so I'd like to thank you for that - it's very refreshing in this day and age to have someone disagree with you politely and - better yet - continue to subscribe to your podcast! And so, since even those who disagree with me have heard me out on Captain Marvel being a generally good film and not a threat to white men, here's the video I've referred to on recent episodes. It's from June 2018, and Brie Larson's acceptance speech for the Crystal Award (this is from the Crystal + Lucy Awards), she calls for more diversity among critics, and at no point does she say that she doesn't want men to see her movies, or for that matter even mention Captain Marvel. If this really upsets you, I'd advise therapy: https://variety.com/video/brie-larson-crystal-lucy-awards-critics/
Speaking of Captain Marvel, the character currently known as Shazam is on track to have the highest domestic box office earnings next week, and Pet Sematary should do quite well too, coming in second place: https://variety.com/2019/film/box-office/shazam-box-office-opening-weekend-early-tracking-1203162051/
Also - let's talk about the new trailer for Avengers: Endgame that dropped today: https://youtu.be/TcMBFSGVi1c
Specifically, who's that girl getting archery lessons from Hawkeye? Hopefully he's not pulling the old William "Rick" Singer, getting her to pose with her bow and arrow in the hopes of getting a bogus ivy league archery scholarship. Speaking of, I finally have answers to the question I was asked last night, as to why Felicity Huffman's husband, William H. Macy, is not being charged while Huffman was arrested at gunpoint by the FBI.
