I'm still sick and sound a little rough, but I kind of feel like it's my duty to speak today - because there is a campaign of terror, in the form of bombs being sent to politicians and journalists, designed to shut us all up. So even with a hoarse voice and and a short episode, I felt it was my duty to speak up. To say the obvious - that this violence and terrorism is unacceptable and un-American, that Megyn Kelly's presence on NBC is further normalizing this awful environment of racism and nostalgia for an America that only existed in Archie Bunker's distorted memory, and that we have to stand for progress and peace. Now more than ever, because these attacks are obviously timed to silence us as the Midterms approach. Times are scary and this campaign of terror is designed to make them even scarier, but it won't stop if we don't speak up.
Tomorrow, I look forward to a much more fun episode, with a fully recovered voice, some news about the weird craze in Sweden of people getting themselves chipped, and at your request I'm happy to start recapping episodes of Daredevil Season 3.
