While in Africa in March 2020 Dave Evans had a miraculous experience while on his way to the airport to come back to the states, on one of the roads, which could have been the end of his life. Dave Evans is the President of LifeNet International, a US-based, Christian ministry that is working to transform healthcare in hundreds of healthcare facilities in rural Africa. He is married with two grown daughters and currently lives in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. He has more than 37 years of ministry experience in international relief and development, management, and implementation of poverty and hunger alleviation efforts in the U.S., Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Dave has a passion for responding to the needs of people around the world who are impacted by poverty, hunger, and poor healthcare. Dave holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He speaks French, Spanish, and English.
