In our world today, we’re tempted to think God cares only about the big stuff, or he only lives in a church building, or it’s only the big news stories that matter. Christmas tells us a different story. It teaches us that God is with us where we are. His Son came into the world as a baby and dwelled among us, right where we live in flesh and bone. God is with us in our ordinary lives, with all the pain, joy, boredom, and frustrations that fill each day.
