Paul wants the Philippians to stand firm and united, living unselfish lives, shining like lights in a dark world. But to do this they need to fix their minds on Jesus and the cross. This is hard to do if you don’t have help. Paul uses himself, Timothy, and Epaphroditus, as examples of how to live Cross-Formed lives. This has direct application for us today.
