We continue our series on the church being the Pillar and Ground of Truth.
In this part, we see how Jesus instituted the Church so that we can also experience and enjoy the grace, truth, and godliness the apostles also enjoyed.
We look at the one thing we need to understand about the Church being the pillar and ground of the truth. It is the sanctification of the Church by the word (John 17:17). We see how it is the responsibility of the Church to feed the sheep (John 21:15). The Church through the ministry gifts provided by Christ is to help believers exude the glory of Christ by being in the right conditions for growth.
We also look at the responsibility of the believer to the word of God, in our reading, studying meditating, and application of the word to our day-to-day affairs.
