Brother Seye helps us see that God's Word is precept upon precept and line upon line.
It is not according to the wisdom of this world or according to the "deep mysteries of God's Word" rather, it is the simple word as taught to children, precept upon precept, line upon line.
We are admonished to stay with the "basics" of God's word and not scorn it. We are to receive the basics with meekness otherwise we'd be drawn away by our desires for more and leave God.
