From Mark 2:1-13, we see that Jesus sees the faith of the paralyzed man's friends and responds with "Your sins are forgiven".
Here, Jesus addresses the primary resistance the paralyzed man had to receive his healing.
We see that sin causes sickness directly and indirectly and that were healed by the Lord's mercy alone.
It is important we keep in our mind that we have received God's mercy for the forgiveness of our sins and that we don't allow sin consciousness to hold us down and back from fulfilling all God has planned for us.
