Dr Sukhbir Sandhu is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability and Ethics at the University of South
Australia Business School. Dr Sandhu has a PhD in Strategy (Sustainability Strategies of Firms)
from Lincoln University, New Zealand. Dr Sandhu has published nearly 50 research outputs in
leading management and sustainability journals. She has also authored three highly cited books
on social and environmental sustainability. Her research on organisational sustainability has been
recognised by the prestigious awards around the world.
Dr Sandhu teaches Ethics and Sustainability. She has won numerous awards for her teaching.
(Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning - Excellence Award, UniSA Business
School, 2018; Finalist in Wharton-QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards 2017, 2016;
Outstanding Contributions to Digital Learning Award, UniSA, 2016; Outstanding Student
Engagement Award, UniSA Business School, 2016).
Dr Sandhu has been elected to the leadership track at the Organisations and Natural Environment
(ONE) Division of the Academy of Management. The Academy of Management is one of the
biggest professional associations in management with 20,000 members in over 120 countries. Dr
Sandhu serves as UniSA Business School lead for the United Nations Principles of Responsible
Management Education (PRME).
