From the summer of 2002 until early 2004, the best wrestling matches in the world were largely the work of just six men: the Smackdown Six. They were Rey Mysterio, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and yes, Chris Benoit. They wrestled against each other, they wrestled as tag teams; they were the backbone of Smackdown, and Smackdown the best wrestling show on television.
Join Matt Vaughan and a guest co-host as they explore the Smackdown Six Era of, well, Smackdown. There will be good things to celebrate (Brock Lesnar! The Cruiserweight Division!), bad things to complain about (how women were treated!), and a few terrible things to agonize over (single-branded pay-per-views! Zach Gowen!).
