Last episode we concluded with highlighting what made Joshua and Caleb such a great leaders to take the people into the promised land. They had what the Bible called "a different spirit" about them. I suggest that the "different spirit" was the courage to trust God, despite the obstacles in their way. Okay, cool. So we should desire to have the courage to trust. But how do we cultivate that? How do we cultivate the courage to trust God? Ah! That is the question.
In this episode, we look at Joshua 1:5-9, and the fascinating literary structure in it, which reveals the answer to our question.
