When you're working with a large FFA chapter, it is awesome but can be difficult to identify and lead students who are interested in pursuing more within your group. Your officer team is always at the top of their game, but what about the other students who may not become an officer but still have big goals? I've started a group within our FFA chapter called Core. This group is open to any member who wants to develop their own leadership potential, and we meet once monthly to ensure that they are being supported along their FFA journey. Each meeting is planned in advance and covers topics from goal setting to proficiency applications and scholarships. Chapter meetings are great, but when you need more-- that's when Core can be an awesome part of your program! Join me in this session to learn how to start your own FFA Core group and make your job just a little easier.
