This weekend on the Weekly Stan Up it's just your hosts Mika and Pau! We take a break from our guestings, and recap some of the new artists we've discovered in the past months. First on the list is up-and-coming Korean singer-songwriter Seori who recently got signed with 88rising (we talked about them in another episode!). We talk about how Seori is a representative of a lot of change happening in the Kpop and music industry these days -- her style of music, Korean artists getting better exposure in the US and the West, Kpop artists coming out of social media vs the institutionalized trainee path, and agencies giving more freedom to artists to engage with their fans.
