Dr Melissa Hatty is interested in our relationship with nature from a psychological perspective. Melissa has just finished her PhD and is now working at Behaviour Works Australia, she has a background in anthropology where she studied her friends in a karaoke bar as her project and is also a big fan of gardening. We discuss her PhD studies on peoples connection with nature and how to measure their relationship to nature. Additionally, we talk about Melissa’s current work which is also very interesting and is investigating psychedelics influence in treating trauma.
