Description

This week Haley really indulged in Aparna’s recommendation and we talk about the difficulty and brilliance of feminist pursuits and well-rounded characters in television. Aparna is not sure that reaction videos are for her. For the main discussion, Aparna conducts an in-depth interview about Haley’s dissertation. Descriptions include "fraught", "absolutely riddled with despair", unnecessary Glee references and notebook fart noises. Aparna identifies how our writing processes are different and—a peek behind the editing curtain—it’s blowing my mind while editing the episode. Then, as usual, we spend quite a bit of time discussing food. Haley discovers that watching a video literally weighs you down. Aparna's discovery is all about hyena clitorises and a hypothesis about why they’re always laughing (it’s wild). Aparna promises a snooty persona next week for her interview.
