Opening bit: When Chris's brother came out
Chris Metcalfe is a comedy performance powerhouse. Watching his standup is a true thrill; his persona is brash and his energy is electric. Chris talks about being from New Jersey (okay saaaaame!), and moving to Australia right after college. (I had no idea there was a US to AUS lifeguard pipeline). Chris also gets "esoteric and heady" (his words) talking about his approach and philosophy toward the pursuit of standup comedy. This was one of those "conversations about comedy" that was so much fun to have because we just give a shit about it!
