Welcome to episode 28 of SonaCast. This week our special guest is Zoe Pikramenou, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and Photophysics at the University of Birmingham in the UK.
Over the last year Sona has been working with Prof. Pikramenou and her team on a joint project to develop next generation gold nanorods for tissue imaging. The ultimate aim of the project is to investigate whether gold nanorods can be used to target cancer cells in the human body.
