One of the main reasons I began Holistic Healing and this podcast was my desire to share how alternative sources of healing are just as powerful as what is marketed to us. As I continued to be turned away and unsatisfied by modern medicine, I found myself being called to explore the outdoors. It was then I began to realize how aligning nature can be to help us become our most authentic selves.

Today, I have Michelle Klatt, a Canadian content creator, onto the show who is using her platforms to encourage people to embrace nature while also normalizing mental health in the outdoors. Being someone who has also battled with her own mental health struggles, she found the wilderness to be a healing space. With over 28 thousand followers on Instagram, she is here to share her healing journey! In this episode, we dive deep into the biopsychosocial benefits of being in nature, getting sunlight, grounding/ earthing, and how the outdoors should not be gatekept by anyone!
