Key Takeaways

“Yeah, it works out really well. So he does a lot of the acquisition side and the underwriting kind of the numbers and then the rehabs and repositioning kind of side of things and I focus more on the investors. So looking forward with that, we'd like to continue staying focused on that path and continue with those types of properties because we feel that we have a strong niche, I guess there that we can continue to work with and we have a good background in that space to continue to improve and grow in that area. So we'd like to move in that direction and continue going that way down the line. Maybe a couple of years from now. We would like to also offer more alternative investments for our investors. So one thing that we would like to do would be to have a fund of some kind where investors can invest into businesses and have so being able to have both. Because with multifamily distressed properties, typically, if you're investing in a deal like that, most of your profits you're going to see at the sale and or maybe a cash-out refinance or something like that, you'll see some strong cash flow maybe towards the end, but in the beginning, it's a whole lot of heavy lifting, a whole lot of fixing. So if you're an investor and you're looking for something with more cash flow, it's nice to have another option where maybe you're having these, maybe you have a fund where you are invested in that has businesses that can bring in some cash flow as well. So having multiple options for investors I think is really awesome and it's exciting to us. So we'd like to move in that direction.” Alex
