Canadian hip-hop musician from the Ontario-area MPC Smoke delivers relatable , emotional lyrics as well as showcases his various vocal talents in every song. He is highly influenced by Juice Wrld and XXXtentacion and Also enjoys Blink-182. Born Bret Purdy in 1993, The Ontario artist grew up playing guitar, piano , and writing lyrics in his spare time in his early high school years. After the passing of his friend Breezy who at the time would always encourage Bret to pursue his career in music Bret did just that . Starting off as Lil-$moke based off the nickname he was given Smokie by Breezy , he dropped his first single " Double Cup Love " to Youtube and Soundcloud . Slowly gaining listens and traction he realized music was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He became more encouraged and created an account with Distrokid under the name " MPC Smoke '' Releasing his first hit " I Can't Tell " to all platforms In December the year 2020
