How to Plan a Styled Shoot
Have a vision
Know who you are serving and why
Depending on the purpose of the shoot, prepare a budget!(florals and or all vendors)
Have in mind what vendors you’d like to partner with ( planner, venue, florists, invitation designer, hair+make up, baker, wedding dress shop, models(friends), etc )
Reach out to those vendors with a lose date in mind( being flexible is best when working with others )explaining your desire to collaborate, tell them why you chose them, share your vision and initial details
Once you’ve gathered your team of vendors, be sure to be on top of keeping them up to date, check in with them a week beforehand as a friendly reminder and encouragement - send last email day before as final reminder and start time
Make magic!
Be sure to be quick to send ALL vendors previews and a thank you because this is for them as much as it is for you, and everyone put in a lot of work!!
