In this week's episode and my 35th one (crazy we are here already!!) I have my cousin and one of my role models Ava Schweinger on air. Ava is the Director of Christian Education at Holy Trinity in Edmond, Oklahoma. And I had so much fun getting to ask her about life in ministry, how the Lord brought her there and what it is like to be a women in her position. She spoke about the challenges, uncertainty and surrender that comes with a job like that, and how the Lord has shaped her and worked through her during those times and seasons outside of her comfort zone. This is an episode for the one is is afraid of change and losing control, and who may have issues with putting the Lord at the forefront of their challenges and success. And the one who needs help rejoicing in suffering. Ava has been a long time role model for me, and the closest thing I have to an older sister growing up.
