After leaving 8 years of active duty time in the Marine Corps, Joe got into the door industry as a helper on a commercial crew. He quickly moved into sales, estimating and project management with McKee Door in Columbus, OH. After 6 years at McKee he was hired by C.H.I. Overhead Doors and held a position as an Architectural Sales Consultant which allowed him to transition to the Commercial Product Manager. In 2019 Joe resigned his position with C.H.I. and was hired at United Garage Door as the Executive Vice President. In January 2022 he was named the President of United Garage Door.
