In regards to Jephthah’s vow in chapter 11, my questions are: Did Jephthah really not think when he made the vow that he would have to make a human sacrifice to fulfill the vow? And did he really offer his daughter as a burnt sacrifice?
I found two articles that address the passage. One is a pro-dedication article and one is a pro-sacrifice article. What do you think?
