Kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness month with Carrie’s Touch (@carriestouch) with Dr. Donna White Carey, first lady of True Vine Ministries, pediatrician and health advocate who also sits on the advisory board of Carrie’s Touch Project SOAR. Rev. Tammie Denyse, co-founder of Carrie’s Touch and breast cancer survivor/advocate joined in to give us the details on Project SOAR, supporting breast cancer survivors and their 2019 Circle of Life Tour. Carrie’s Touch board member and 10-year survivor Lillian Winrow gave us a peek into her journey, while her husband Derrick Sr. talked about his experience as a spouse supporting his wife through her journey.
