Description

Over 90% of bone marrow matches occur within the same ethnicity; the match rate for blacks is only 23%. That means that roughly 87% of black people in need of a bone marrow transplant die waiting for a match. You can help!

Listen to my conversation with Indria Gillespie, Founder/CEO of Angels-In-Diguise and medical oncologist Dr. Brion Randolph and hear the remarkable story of Carol Mulumba  Sickle Cell Survivor as I sit down with Carol, her mother Lukiah and her brother Mark, who at 4 years old was the bone marrow donor who saved his sister’s life.
