Tamiko Garner, also known as the Plant-Based Vegan Sistah, visits the Full Circle Studio to discuss her mission to help women over 50 embark on a real & relatable plant-based vegan journey. She understands the struggle. After being a vegetarian for over 30 years she decided to start eating a plant-based diet giving up some of her favorite foods in exchange for not inheriting the many health issues, like diabetes, high blood pressure, and digestive cancers that occurred in her family. She not only released over 30 pounds, but she also let go of all the emotional stuff that came with those extra pounds.
