Celebration Arts, Sacramento’s premier Black theater, is thrilled to announce its 38th Season, Black Girl Magic, featuring iconic, award-winning plays and new original plays, written and directed by Black women. “Black Girl Magic is an expression of positivity and empowerment highlighting the struggles and triumphs of Black women. As they enter their 38th year, they pay homage to the Black women who stood by founder James Wheatley’s side to fortify the foundation and vision of Celebration Arts.”
