Hope you ready for the next episode, heyyyeyyy....because it was a lot quicker than 3 years this time as Chris and Joe are back for a minor milestone. Episode 10!! Double Digits!! In this episode they discuss the 2017 slice of real life drama, The Florida Project. The film, which earned an oscar nomination for Willem Dafoe as motel manager Bobby, centers around the lives of the residents and employees of a motel that stands in the shadows of the Happiest Place on Earth. The main focus of the film is set on a 6 year girl named Monee who lives at the motel with young mother Hailey. The guys then jump into a talk about the 1997 David Lynch directed film, Lost Highway. Starring Bill Pulman and Patricia Arquette, Lost Highway is a twisted tale of sex and murder. The film begins with the story of a jazz musician who is worried that his wife is no longer being faithful and in true Lynchian fashion, morphs itself into the journey of a 24 year old mechanic who is seduced by the girlfriend of a dangerous and powerful man. Are these two separate tales? Is it really the same story? Is one or both a dream? Are there parallel universes at play? We really don't know. Do you? Can you tell us? Please. We would like to know..........Smoke weed everyday!
