Description

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Mark 10:46-52 on "How We Receive Sight?" Bishop explains the story of the blind man named Bartimaeus. Jericho had over 20,000 priests and as many Levites at the temple. Because of the Passover, everyone was on duty. Bartimaeus, a beggar, sat at the northern gate of the temple. Bartimaeus caused an uproar to get Jesus' attention. The blind man did not let the crowd deter him from getting his miracle. Just like Bartimaeus, we must cast aside anything that hinders us in trusting Jesus alone. The faith the blind man exhibited caused him to receive his sight. We as believers may be spiritually blind and we need Jesus to heal us. Once our spiritual sight has been restored, we can be grateful for what God has done for us and follow Him faithfully.
