Today, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Exodus 17:8-16 on the story of the people of Israel's first fight. The people of God not only experienced trials involving the necessities of life, such as bread and water, but also faced battles when enemies attacked them. When the enemy attacked us, it is our duty to go before the Lord and cry out to Him for victory. Normally, the devil attacks us right after a great victory. The Amalekites attacked Israel from behind, at the weakest place in the camp, and struck those who were weary and feeble. The devil knows our weakest point. We are in the world physically, but not of the world spiritually. When we identify with Jesus Christ, then His enemies become our enemies. Here's a simple strategy which involves three elements: (1) The Power of God in heaven, (2) The skill of Joshua and the army on the battlefield, and (3) The intercession of Moses, Aaron, and Hur on the top of the hill. As you listen to the message, may the Lord show you how to implement these elements in your daily life. Have a safe and blessed week.
