This week, Bishop Rodgers continues the series "Rethinking My Service" from Romans 12:1-2. Apostle Paul reminds the church we are to offer our bodies as living sacrifices to the Lord which is our spiritual (reasonable) worship. The term "bodies" refer to everything we are--our totality. As Christians, we are called to a lifestyle different from the world. We are to be "transformed," meaning changed into a new form of life by the renewing or resetting of our mind, having a new spirit, and walking after the Holy Spirit. We transform our minds by the Word of God. Re-programming the mind is not a quick process, it is a lifelong process, in which the mind is taken from the world and more and more made to "have in mind the things of God".
We pray as you listen to this powerful, life-changing message, you will begin to examine your "walk" and ask the Lord to show you areas in your life where you need to "reset".
