This week, Bishop Rodgers continues the series "Rethinking My Service" from Romans 12:1-2. Apostle Paul moves to explain "how" the temple (our bodies) gets filled and with "what". He urges us not to pattern ourselves after one another or being molded by the world, but we must be transformed by the renewing of our minds and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit "changes" us and "enables" us to offer ourselves completely to God. Inward change in our heart produces outward change in our lives. The "change" of life which the Lord approves is a changed produced by the renovation of the mind in understanding, affections and the will. This starts with us cleaning our memory from all unclean, sinful recollections and creating new memories.
We pray as you listen to this life changing message, the Holy Spirit will minister to you those areas which need to be transformed. If you prayed the prayer of salvation with us, please text the keyword "SAVED" to 252-627-9900. We'd love to connect with you! Have a safe and blessed week.
